Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-garnet colour with impressive clarity and intensity. The nose is layered and complex, unfolding with blackcurrant, plum, cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite, truffle, and subtle smoky nuances that are so often associated with Haut-Brion. The palate is expansive yet impeccably poised, with ripe dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and fresh acidity giving shape and lift to the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and depth, Merlot adds richness and velvet texture, while Cabernet Franc contributes aromatic detail and finesse. The finish is long, savoury, and persistent, with excellent ageing potential for several decades.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as beef fillet, roast lamb, duck breast, game birds, truffle-infused dishes, and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting is recommended, especially in its youth, to allow the wine to fully open and express its aromatics and structure.
