On the palate, it is rich yet poised, with velvety tannins, excellent structure, and a long, refined finish. Production
Haut-Brion comes from gravelly, well-drained soils in Pessac-Léognan, where the warmer terroir helps achieve exceptional ripeness while preserving freshness and definition. The grapes are typically harvested carefully by hand and sorted rigorously to ensure only the best fruit enters the final blend. Vinification is carried out with precision, followed by ageing in French oak barrels to build structure, texture, and aromatic depth.
