With only 327 cases made, this is a limited-release wine that stands out for both quality and rarity.

Tasting Notes
Pale to medium gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with generous aromas of citrus oil, apricot, peach pit, orange blossom, and honeydew melon. The nose is layered and expressive, offering both ripe orchard fruit and a lifted floral freshness. On the palate, it unfolds in waves with preserved lemon, mandarin, and white pear, followed by notes of brioche, mineral tension, and a bright, clean acidity. The wine is concentrated yet finely balanced, with enough structure to age gracefully for at least another 5 years, if not longer under ideal storage conditions.

Production
Fog Dance Vineyard sits in the Russian River Valley AVA, where the combination of cool fog influence, well-suited soils, and a temperate coastal climate creates ideal conditions for Chardonnay. The grapes were farmed organically and harvested to preserve freshness and site expression. After fermentation, the wine matured for 17 months in French oak barrels, 39% of which were new, and was bottled without fining or filtration to retain texture and purity.

This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roast chicken, lobster, seared scallops, grilled prawns, creamy pasta, or rich mushroom dishes. Serve it slightly chilled at around 10-12°C, and consider a short decant if you want to open up its aromatics and layered texture more quickly.
