Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a golden hue with green reflections, hinting at both ripeness and freshness. The nose opens with ripe peach, apple, and citrus peel, layered with brioche and a subtle nutty note. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet beautifully balanced, with lively acidity, a creamy texture, and a long, mineral finish. It has the structure and finesse to develop further in bottle over the next few years, gaining additional complexity with time.

Production
Made from 100% Chardonnay, the wine comes from selected parcels on gravel-clay soils in Südsteiermark DAC, giving it both terroir expression and depth. The fruit is vinified with a focus on preserving elegance, then matured in oak barrels to add finesse and integrate the wood seamlessly with the wine’s fruit and mineral profile.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs particularly well with roast poultry, creamy pasta dishes, risotto, veal, and richer fish such as turbot or monkfish. Serve it slightly chilled at around 10–12°C; decanting is not necessary, though a short aeration can help open the wine if served young.
