Habla, Nº33 2021 is a striking Malbec from Extremadura that shows just how expressive the grape can be outside its traditional homeland. Sourced from a single vineyard and crafted with organic farming, it combines depth, elegance, and a distinct mineral edge that makes it immediately memorable.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color with violet reflections. The nose is complex and lifted, with aromas of blueberries, forest berries, and ripe plums, joined by fresh citrus notes, toasted almonds, subtle spice, and a mineral undertone that adds tension and depth. On the palate, it is silky and elegant, with a fine balance of ripe dark fruit, freshness, and structure. Flavors of black fruit, spice, and a touch of balsamic character are supported by polished tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long, layered, and refined, with lingering notes of toast, dark fruit, spice, and a subtle mineral impression. It has excellent aging potential and should develop beautifully over the next several years.

Production
This Malbec comes from a single vineyard in Extremadura, where slate-rich soils help shape its distinctive mineral profile. The grapes are organically grown and the wine is matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, adding complexity, finesse, and a refined spicy character to the final blend.

Food & Serving
A great match for grilled beef, lamb dishes, game, or mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes to let the wine’s layers and aromatic complexity fully open up.
