Tasting Notes

Grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to ensure careful berry selection and minimal oxidative damage. In the cellar, the fruit is destemmed (with a considered proportion of whole clusters, depending on the vintage) and fermented in small lots to capture site expression, with gentle punch-downs to extract color and tannin without excessive harshness. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new, for added texture and complexity while maintaining the varietal purity and finesse that define this reserve cuvée.
