Tasting Notes

On the palate, this is full-bodied and voluptuous, yet exceptionally seamless, with extraordinary depth of flavor and a firm tannic spine underneath the richness. It has the structure to age gracefully, and while already impressive, it is a wine that can continue to evolve beautifully over time.

Production
La Mouline comes from a prized Côte-Rôtie site in the northern Rhône, where steep, terraced vineyards and a cool continental climate help Syrah develop both aromatic finesse and serious structure. The vineyard’s unique terroir contributes to the wine’s hallmark combination of concentration, perfume, and elegance, and the fruit is handled with meticulous care to preserve its purity and precision during vinification.
