Girlan Pinot Nero Patricia 2024 is a refined Alto Adige Pinot Noir that captures the region’s balance of alpine freshness and Mediterranean warmth. Elegant, fruit-driven and quietly complex, it stands out for its clarity of expression, mineral backbone and polished style.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color. The bouquet is inviting and nuanced, with cherry, blackberry and dried flowers lifted by subtle notes of forest floor, spice and a gentle hint of vanilla. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, combining crisp fruit freshness with ripe tannins and a marked mineral edge. The finish is long and persistent, and while it is already beautifully expressive now, it also has the structure to age gracefully over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from selected vineyards in Cornaiano, Mazzon and Pinzon, on gentle south-facing slopes at 450 to 600 meters above sea level. The soils are a complex mix of limestone, clay and sand, with moraine deposits over volcanic bedrock, while the alpine microclimate and strong day-night temperature shifts help preserve freshness and build aromatic intensity. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, followed by careful vinification in stainless steel and a 15-month maturation in oak barrels of different sizes, then a further six months of bottle aging.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir is an excellent match for mushroom risotto, roasted meats, game and mature cheeses, especially dishes with earthy or savory depth. Serve it slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and decanting is optional but can be helpful if enjoyed young to open up its aromatic complexity.
