Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a translucent garnet hue with a bright ruby core, hinting at its youth and serious structure. The nose is layered and refined, offering red cherry, rose petal, dried herbs, licorice, tobacco, and subtle spice, with earthy and mineral undertones that reflect the Villero site. The palate is firm, elegant, and concentrated, with vibrant acidity and finely grained tannins that frame the wine’s cherry, cranberry, tea leaf, truffle, and savory spice notes. This is a Barolo built for patience: while already expressive, it has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop greater complexity over the next decade or more.

Production
