Georges de Latour Napa Valley 2019 is a refined Californian red with the depth, structure and polish associated with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Named after Beaulieu Vineyard’s founder, Georges de Latour, the wine reflects a historic estate whose roots in Napa date back to the early 1900s.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby to garnet in appearance, this vintage opens with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, complemented by notes of cedar, baking spice, graphite and subtle vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, combining ripe dark fruit with polished tannins and well-integrated oak. A fresh line of acidity brings balance to the wine’s richness, while the long finish reveals layers of cassis, cocoa and spice. It is enjoyable now with decanting, but its structure and concentration should allow it to develop further over the next decade or more when properly cellared.

Produced in Napa Valley, where warm, sunny days encourage full ripeness and cool evening temperatures help preserve freshness, this Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine showcases the region’s classic balance of power and elegance. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified to preserve their varietal character and concentration, followed by maturation in oak to develop greater texture, complexity and integration.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C. Decant for 1–2 hours before serving, particularly when enjoying the wine in its youth. Its generous structure pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted beef, rack of lamb, venison, hearty mushroom dishes and mature hard cheeses.

The wine takes its name from Georges de Latour, the French-born founder of Beaulieu Vineyard, who established the estate in Napa Valley in the early twentieth century. Beaulieu Vineyard became one of the region’s pioneering producers and is especially associated with age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon. The Georges de Latour name continues this legacy, representing Napa Valley wines made in a classic, cellar-worthy style.
