Tasting Notes

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet graceful, with silky tannins, balanced structure, and a long, persistent finish. The wine’s maturity adds nuance and polish, while still preserving enough backbone to continue showing well. Produced in Tuscany from 100% Sangiovese, this Brunello reflects the character of the Castelgiocondo estate and its well-regarded Montalcino terroir. The wine is traditionally crafted and then aged for at least four years in oak barrels before bottling, allowing the tannins to soften and the aromatics to develop greater complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roasted or grilled red meats, game dishes, and mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C to bring out its full aromatic range and elegance. Decanting is recommended, especially if you want to help the wine open up and reveal its deeper layers more fully.
