Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright light-ruby colour with intense clarity and delicate orange reflections. The nose is broad and finely layered, with aromas of violet, spice, hay, and liquorice, giving it a distinctly aromatic and traditional Barolo profile. On the palate, it is harmonious and full, with a subtle dry edge that adds definition rather than severity. The finish is long, complex, and persistent, leaving a pleasant lingering impression of liquorice; it should continue to develop beautifully with bottle age, gaining more complexity and polish over time.

Sourced from Castelletto in Piedmont, this wine comes from a terroir well suited to Nebbiolo, where the combination of exposure, altitude, and mineral-rich soils helps preserve freshness while building structure and aromatic intensity. The grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then vinified with care to extract colour, tannin, and perfume while maintaining the elegance that Barolo demands.

This Barolo pairs beautifully with rich Piedmontese dishes such as braised beef, truffle pasta, risotto, game, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least one to two hours to help the wine खुल up and show its full aromatic complexity.
