Ferrari, Trento Brut NV

Ferrari Trento Brut NV is one of Italy’s great sparkling wine icons, admired for its refinement, energy, and elegance. Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and expressive, opening with ripe Golden Delicious apple, white flowers, and citrus, then unfolding into subtle notes of yeast, brioche, and freshly baked bread. The palate is harmonious and polished, with a beautiful balance of ripe fruit, vibrant acidity, and a creamy mousse. Flavors of apple, citrus, and white peach are layered with hints of brioche, almond, and a delicate mineral edge that reflects its mountain origin in Trentino. The finish is fresh, elegant, and impressively long, with lingering fruit, pastry, and a refined mineral tension. While already highly enjoyable now, it also has the structure to develop additional complexity over a few years.

Ferrari Trento Brut NV comes from mountain vineyards in Trentino, where cool temperatures and significant day-to-night variation help preserve freshness, aromatic lift, and precision. The wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay and crafted using the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in the bottle and extended aging on the lees to build texture, finesse, and complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent aperitif wine and a versatile match for celebratory dining. It pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, risotto, refined fish dishes, and light appetizers. Serve chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, and decanting is not recommended.
