ER4 Rosé Fleur de Miraval Champagne 0,75l

Fleur de Miraval ER4 is a rare and highly sought-after rosé Champagne, created by Brad Pitt together with the Perrin family and Pierre Péters. Built on Grand Cru fruit from the Côte des Blancs, it combines precision, elegance, and a very distinctive mineral depth with the finesse expected from one of Champagne’s most exclusive releases.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate salmon-tinged hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is bright and layered, offering grapefruit, red citrus, apple tart, lavender, subtle nutty tones, and a hint of spice. The palate is taut, refined, and beautifully poised, with crisp citrus tension, saline minerality, and exceptionally fine bubbles. The finish is long, vibrant, and complex, with enough structure and freshness to develop gracefully over time.

Production
ER4 is made from 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir, sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, particularly Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The wine includes a Réserve Perpétuelle spanning 2007 to 2018, along with older reserve wines; most of the base wine is vinified in stainless steel, while reserve components are aged in wood, and malolactic fermentation is intentionally blocked to preserve freshness. It then spends 36 months on lees before release.

Food & Serving
Excellent as an aperitif, Fleur de Miraval ER4 also pairs beautifully with scallops, lobster, poultry, goat cheese, or refined fruit-based desserts. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not necessary, though a little time in the glass will help the aromatics open up.
