Emmanuel Biscaye, Bis by Biscaye Viognier 2025 White

Emmanuel Biscaye’s Bis by Biscaye Viognier is a generous, softly textured white from the family-owned Clos de l’Armet vineyard, just south of Montpellier. Made from Viognier, it combines ripe stone-fruit character with floral lift and a subtle touch of vanilla, offering an approachable expression of southern French winegrowing.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright golden hue. On the nose, it reveals inviting aromas of apricot and lavender, complemented by a delicate hint of vanilla. The palate is rounded and full-bodied, with a creamy texture, generous opening and recurring floral notes that give the wine freshness and charm. Production
The Viognier comes from Clos de l’Armet, a family-owned vineyard situated just south of Montpellier. The site belongs to the Biscaye family, now in its fifth generation. Emmanuel Biscaye took over the family estate, Domaine Biscaye, around 15 years ago and has modernised it step by step. Since 2010, he has bottled the estate’s wines himself, continuing a family tradition now spanning five generations. Based near Montpellier, Domaine Biscaye represents a modern, independent approach to the region’s vineyards, with this Viognier showcasing the estate’s ability to produce richly textured and characterful white wines.
