The palate is usually finely structured and layered, with concentrated dark fruit, refined tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, poised finish. 2021 is a vintage that tends to favor freshness, balance, and aromatic purity, suggesting excellent ageing potential. While approachable in its youth with proper decanting, it should continue to develop complexity over many years, gaining tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, and earth with cellaring.
