Tasting Notes
Bright golden in color, this Auslese shows a beautifully expressive nose of ripe peach, apricot, candied citrus, and a subtle floral lift. On the palate, it is vibrant and finely balanced, with rich sweetness kept in check by lively Mosel acidity, giving the wine a graceful, feather-light feel despite its concentration. The finish is long, elegant, and distinctly mineral, leaving a fresh, mouthwatering impression. Production
The grapes come from the steep slate slopes of Erdener Prälat in the Mosel, a site renowned for its exceptional sun exposure and ability to produce intensely aromatic, finely etched Riesling. The combination of blue slate soils, old vines, and meticulous selection from a top-rated vintage gives the wine its concentration and unmistakable mineral character. The Lange Goldkapsel designation indicates a specially selected bottling reserved for superior lots, traditionally associated with auction-quality wines. Vinification is carried out with great care to preserve the grape’s natural fragrance, acidity, and purity, allowing the vineyard character to shine through in a focused, elegant style.

Food & Serving
This Riesling Auslese pairs beautifully with fruit-based desserts, tarte Tatin, crème brûlée, blue cheese, or a refined cheese plate. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a luxurious aperitif or meditation wine. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not usually necessary, though a short opening can help the aromas unfold in younger bottles.
