Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a brilliant golden hue that hints at its generosity and intensity. The nose is deeply perfumed, with candied fruit notes of apricot, mirabelle, and coconut layered over honeyed tones and delicate floral accents of lily and jasmine. The palate is full-flavored and immediately expressive, with a bold first impression balanced by fresh acidity and a long, caramelized fruit finish. Its combination of richness and structure gives it excellent aging potential, allowing the wine to gain even more complexity over time.

Production
The grapes come from the Grand Cru Sporen vineyard in Riquewihr, a natural basin that retains warmth and promotes full ripening, while the deep, rich soils lend the wine its mineral backbone and textural depth. Harvesting is done by hand to ensure only the best fruit is selected. In the cellar, the wine is gently pneumatic pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by six months of lees aging to build texture and preserve its aromatic purity.

Food & Serving
This Gewürztraminer is a natural match for mature cheeses, richly spiced dishes, and bold flavors such as Asian cuisine, foie gras, or intensely seasoned poultry. Serve slightly chilled at around 8-10°C to highlight its aromatic lift and balance. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help if enjoyed young.
