Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-purple colour, hinting at the concentration to come. The nose opens with layers of blackcurrant, dark cherry, plum, graphite, dried herbs, violets, and subtle cedar and spice notes. On the palate, it is layered and finely structured, with ripe dark fruit, polished tannins, fresh acidity, and a mineral-driven core that keeps the wine focused and long. The finish is persistent and refined, with impressive balance and complexity. This is a wine with excellent aging potential, and it should develop beautifully over many years, gaining additional nuance and secondary complexity.
