Today, the domaine is led by Chantal Tortochot, the great-granddaughter of Paul Tortochot, who brings oenological training and a modern commitment to expressing the vineyard’s character. The estate is regarded as one of the better-known producers in Gevrey-Chambertin, a village whose wines have long been considered an important introduction to the great reds of Burgundy.
