Tasting Notes
The 2022 vintage shows a deep ruby colour and an inviting aromatic profile of dark cherries, blackcurrants and gentle spice, lifted by subtle forest-floor and lightly toasted oak notes. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and structured, with fine tannins, generous fruit concentration and a long, persistent finish. Old-vine fruit gives the wine added depth and complexity, while its elegant frame keeps everything poised and precise. It can be enjoyed now for its freshness and charm, but it also has the substance to develop gracefully over the next 5–10 years.

Production
The wine comes from the Champerrier vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, where old vines contribute naturally lower yields and greater concentration. Traditional maceration and fermentation are followed by ageing in French oak barrels, a process that helps preserve the wine’s aromatic finesse while integrating its acidity and tannins harmoniously.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C for the best balance of fruit, structure and aroma, and decant briefly if enjoying it young to let the wine open in the glass.
