Producer
Domaine Tortochot has been in the Tortochot family for four generations, with roots in Gevrey-Chambertin reaching back to the 19th century, when Paul Tortochot was a local vigneron. Today, the estate is led by his great-granddaughter Chantal, a trained oenologist who represents a new generation of Burgundian winemakers. Her approach combines continuity with a clear focus on terroir, producing a more traditional style of Gevrey-Chambertin marked by abundant fruit, firm tannins and refreshing acidity. The domaine is one of the better-known producers in a village widely regarded as a starting point for great Burgundy.
