Production
Les Vercots is a Premier Cru vineyard in Aloxe-Corton, north of Beaune, on the slopes surrounding the Corton hill. The relatively elevated site and limestone-rich soils contribute to the wine’s balance, tension, and intensity, while Tollot-Beaut’s parcel of vines planted in 1928 delivers naturally low yields and small, flavor-packed clusters. The grapes are destemmed before fermentation, and vinification is guided by a clear focus on ripe fruit and purity. Aging is carried out with around 20% new oak, allowing the vineyard character to remain dominant.
