Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the quiet elegance typical of top Vosne-Romanée: bright, precise fruit, refined structure, and an effortless sense of balance. Neal Martin describes the nose as closely allied to Les Suchots, with the same purity and captivating character, while the palate carries a little more grip and backbone, yet remains beautifully harmonious through the finish. The oak is exceptionally well judged, with two-thirds new oak seamlessly integrated into the wine’s natural frame. This is a wine of class rather than overt power, and it should reward careful aging, developing greater complexity and silkier texture over time.

Aux Malconsorts is one of Vosne-Romanée’s most celebrated Premier Cru sites, prized for its ability to deliver wines of fragrance, depth, and finesse.
