Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep red-ruby hue. The nose is cool and refined, with aromas of blackberry, redcurrant, orange zest, licorice, pepper, and cardamom, unfolding with a subtly exotic, spicy edge. The palate is large-scaled yet airy, combining silky texture with a firm, tannic backbone. There is notable citrus peel character and a compact, primary feel in its youth; the wine is clearly built for aging and should gain harmony, complexity, and nuance with time in bottle.

Production
This Grand Cru comes from the legendary Clos de Bèze vineyard in Chambertin, one of Burgundy’s most celebrated terroirs for Pinot Noir. The wine was aged in 100% new François Frères barrels, a choice that adds polish, spice, and structure while allowing the wine’s naturally cool, precise fruit profile to remain at the forefront.

Food & Serving
Best served with elegant, flavor-rich dishes such as roasted duck, pigeon, venison, beef tenderloin, or mushroom-based preparations. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if drinking relatively young to help it open and soften.
