This Bonnes Mares comes from a Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy, where the combination of limestone-rich soils and a cool continental climate lends finesse, structure, and aromatic lift to Pinot Noir. The wine was vinified with around 33% whole clusters, a technique that adds spice, floral nuance, and structure while preserving clarity and energy in the fruit. The approach here appears intentionally restrained, with careful extraction and well-integrated oak to emphasize precision over weight.
