Production
Aux Grands Liards sits in an ideal terroir between the hillside and the alluvial plain, with chalky clay soils that lend both freshness and definition to the wine. The 2023 vintage offered stable growing conditions in Savigny, allowing the grapes to be hand-harvested at full maturity and carefully sorted before vinification. Extraction is kept gentle, with some whole clusters used depending on the vintage, followed by fermentation with native yeasts and around 12 months’ ageing in French oak, with only a modest proportion of new barrels to preserve fruit purity and terroir expression.

A natural match for roast chicken, duck, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon or soft-ripened cheeses. Serve slightly cool at around 15–16°C, and decanting is optional—though a short aeration can help the wine open up if served soon after release.
