Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a vibrant ruby-red color. The nose opens with red cherries, plums, raspberries, and cranberries, layered with subtle spice and a refined touch of French oak. The palate is beautifully textured and expressive, with ripe red fruit at the core, supported by a mineral, chalky freshness from the limestone-rich soils. There is impressive depth and balance here, with enough structure to age gracefully for several years while already offering plenty of pleasure now.

Production
Les Vignots comes from 40-year-old vines rooted deep in clay and limestone soils in Pommard, giving the wine its depth, volume, and mineral backbone. Winemaker Alexandre Parigot destems around 80% of the bunches before pressing and fermentation, then matures the wine for 18 months: the first 12 months in a mix of new and used French oak barrels, followed by six months in stainless steel before bottling.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for roast duck, beef tenderloin, mushroom dishes, game birds, or Burgundy-style cheese plates. Serve slightly chilled, around 15–16°C, to bring out the freshness of the fruit and the elegance of the tannins. Decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended, especially if enjoyed young.
