Combining Meursault’s signature breadth with impressive mineral precision, it showcases the growing reputation of Domaine Parigot’s white wines for purity, detail, and quiet elegance.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale golden color with a subtle green hue. The nose is classically Meursault, opening with roasted hazelnuts, pear, lemon cream, and a delicate touch of butter and vanilla from oak aging. On the palate, the wine is rich yet beautifully focused, with crisp acidity and a distinct chalky mineral line giving shape and lift to the creamy mid-palate. It finishes with good length and a poised balance of texture and freshness. While already very expressive, it should also develop nicely over the next several years, gaining greater nuance, hazelnut depth, and complexity with bottle age.

Production
Le Limozin comes from a small parcel with limestone and marl soils, sharing the same geological profile that gives neighboring Meursault vineyards their combination of fullness, minerality, and aromatic depth. The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed gently before fermentation in French oak barrels, with a measured proportion of new oak, typically around 20–25%, to add complexity without masking the fruit. The wine then matures on its lees with bâtonnage, building texture and depth.

This Meursault is an excellent match for roasted poultry, buttery shellfish, lobster, creamy risotto, or fine white fish with rich sauces. Serve chilled but not too cold, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider brief decanting if opened young to allow the wine’s aromatic layers to fully unfold.
