Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red colour with youthful, bright reflections. The bouquet is layered and beautifully complex, unfolding with ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and plum, before revealing violet, spice, leather, and forest-floor notes. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and structured, with firm yet polished tannins and lively acidity that keeps the fruit fresh and focused. Flavours of juicy berries, spice, and earthy undertones lead into a long, elegant, and persistent finish. It has excellent aging potential and will continue to gain nuance and complexity over many years.

Production
This Grand Cru comes from the famed Richebourg vineyard in Vosne-Romanée, a terroir celebrated for producing Pinot Noir of exceptional depth, perfume, and intensity. The site’s combination of finely structured soils and ideal exposure helps preserve freshness while supporting remarkable concentration. Harvesting is typically done by hand in Burgundy’s top vineyards, and vinification is carried out with great care to protect the purity of the fruit and the precision of the site.

Food & Serving
A perfect match for rich, flavourful dishes such as game, beef, and lamb, as well as roasted poultry or mushroom-based cuisine. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for an hour or two when drinking young to allow the aromatics to open and the structure to soften.
