Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Volnay shows a vibrant, polished profile with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and crushed stone. The nose is expressive yet refined, with a mineral edge that adds lift and definition. On the palate, it is harmonious and well balanced, offering more substance and mid-palate richness than the other crus, followed by a subtle, almost confit-like finish that lingers elegantly. The wine’s structure and balance suggest excellent aging potential. While already impressive for its precision and charm, it should develop beautifully over time, gaining complexity and nuance with cellaring.
