Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, this wine opens with fresh aromas of ripe citrus, green apple, and white flowers, followed by subtle layers of acacia honey, wet stone, and a delicate nutty note from oak aging. With time, it reveals added complexity, including hints of vanilla and a touch of butter. On the palate, it is poised and finely balanced, with bright acidity carrying flavours of lemon and pear into a creamy texture marked by toasted almond and a refined saline minerality. The finish is long, focused, and chalky, leaving a vivid sense of freshness. It has excellent aging potential and should develop beautifully over the next 5–8 years.

Production
En Vigneraie comes from a carefully selected single vineyard parcel in Pouilly-Fuissé, planted on exceptionally well-drained slopes with a high concentration of limestone in the soil. This terroir is key to the wine’s tension and mineral character. Harvesting is carried out with precision to preserve freshness, and vinification includes oak ageing that adds subtle complexity without overpowering the wine’s natural drive and clarity.

Food & Serving
This wine is an excellent match for grilled langoustines, scallops with butter, or classic French chicken with mushrooms. Serve it at 10–12°C to bring out its aromatics and texture, and consider a short decant if enjoyed young to help the wine open more fully in the glass.
