Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous golden hue with impressive depth. The nose is layered and expressive, offering ripe peach, pear, acacia honey, white flowers, and subtle notes of butter, toasted almonds, and vanilla, with additional hints of citrus, spice, and a fine mineral edge as it opens. The palate is beautifully balanced between richness and precision, with a silky, almost creamy texture lifted by vibrant acidity. Flavours of stone fruit, honey, and nutty creaminess build across the palate, finishing long and refined with a saline, chalky mineral character. While already compelling, it has the structure and concentration to evolve gracefully over time, developing deeper notes of honey, caramel, and toast.

Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet lies in a prized Grand Cru terroir beside Bâtard-Montrachet in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, where limestone-rich soils and an ideal exposure help produce Chardonnay of great intensity and elegance. The grapes are typically harvested by hand to preserve quality, and vinification is carried out with a restrained use of oak so that the wine’s natural balance, texture, and mineral precision remain at the forefront.
