Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a clear ruby-red hue that hints at its vibrancy and lift. The nose is generous and fruit-driven, with aromas of ripe red berries, a touch of spice, and a subtle floral edge that adds charm and detail. On the palate, it is supple and rounded, yet always fresh and lively. Soft tannins and bright acidity keep the wine graceful and harmonious, with a clean, elegant finish. It is made to be enjoyed young for its juicy fruit, though it should also hold nicely over the next few years as its savory nuances begin to emerge.

Production
The grapes come from east-facing parcels in Givry Village, planted on limestone- and clay-rich soils that help preserve freshness while encouraging balanced ripening. Domaine Joblot farms with a thoughtful, sustainable approach designed to maintain healthy vines and optimal grape maturity. Vinification is classic and gentle, with spontaneous fermentation, careful extraction, and ageing in a combination of stainless steel and used oak barrels. This approach preserves the purity of the Pinot Noir fruit while adding just enough texture and structure to support the wine’s elegant profile.

Food & Serving
This is a very versatile Burgundy that works beautifully with charcuterie, burgers, grilled meats, roast chicken, or simple rustic dishes where freshness and fruit can shine. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider a brief decant only if you want to open it up a little more quickly.
