The domaine is known for careful vineyard work, with an emphasis on low yields and meticulous, predominantly manual harvesting to bring in only perfectly ripe, healthy Pinot Noir grapes. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, often with a proportion of whole clusters to enhance aromatic complexity and tannin finesse, followed by élevage in French oak barrels (a modest proportion new) that respects the purity of fruit and terroir rather than masking it.
