Domaine Famille Paquet’s Saint-Véran Les 99 Coupées 2023 is a refined white Burgundy from the heart of the Mâconnais, combining generous fruit with precise mineral freshness. Made by three brothers continuing a family winegrowing story that began in 1980, it reflects their commitment to expressive, terroir-driven wines produced with a sustainable, organic and biodynamic approach.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright, pale golden appearance. Its layered nose brings together fresh grapefruit, green apple, candied lemon and subtle notes of beeswax. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced, with a fine mineral character, polished texture and refined acidity that keeps the wine fresh and persistent. Its combination of fruit, oak maturity and lively structure makes it enjoyable now, while allowing it to develop further complexity in bottle. It should drink very well over the next 4–6 years when stored in good conditions.

Production
Produced in Saint-Véran in the Mâconnais, the wine expresses the limestone-rich character associated with southern Burgundy through its mineral profile and elegant acidity. Famille Paquet works with respect for the terroir and a focus on sustainable, organic and biodynamic viticulture. The wine undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months of maturation in oak barrels and a further 7 months in stainless-steel tanks, allowing richness and freshness to come together before bottling.

Food & Serving
A versatile choice for seafood and lighter dishes, this Saint-Véran is particularly well suited to scallops, grilled or poached fish, shellfish and fresh pasta. It is also excellent as an aperitif. Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not essential, but opening the bottle 15–30 minutes before serving can help reveal its aromas and texture.
