Domaine Famille Paquet’s Pouilly-Fuissé 2023 is a refined and characterful white Burgundy from the heart of the Mâconnais. Tasting Notes
The wine displays a bright, pale yellow colour in the glass. Its aromas recall white and yellow stone fruit, complemented by a discreet mineral undertone. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich and vibrant, with a refined, harmonious texture and excellent balance. A long, persistent finish adds further elegance and depth. This Pouilly-Fuissé is approachable in its youth, when its fruit and freshness are particularly expressive, but its structure and oak maturation should allow it to develop additional complexity over the coming years.

Production
Produced in the Mâconnais, this Pouilly-Fuissé is shaped by respect for the local terroir and a commitment to sustainable, organic and biodynamic viticulture. The wine undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months of maturation in oak barrels, 10% of which are new. It then spends a further seven months maturing in stainless-steel tanks, helping preserve its freshness and precision. Harvesting methods are not specified.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. Its richness and freshness make it an excellent match for lobster, sole, veal sweetbreads and baked mushrooms. Decanting is not essential, although a short period of aeration in the glass can help reveal the wine’s fruit, mineral character and subtle oak nuances.
