Domaine Famille Paquet’s Mâcon Villages Nos Cinq Terroirs 2024 is a generous, beautifully balanced white Burgundy from the heart of the Mâconnais. Made from the region’s signature Chardonnay, it combines expressive floral and almond notes with a full, rounded palate, while reflecting the Paquet family’s long-standing commitment to sustainable, organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Tasting Notes
The wine displays a delicate pale-golden colour in the glass. Its inviting nose opens with aromas of acacia honey, marzipan and spring flowers, offering both richness and an elegant floral character. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round and powerful, yet carefully structured, with a satisfying finish that leaves a gentle impression of ripe fruit and florals. Thanks to its freshness and balanced structure, the wine is particularly appealing in its youth. It can also develop added roundness and complexity over the next few years when stored in suitable cellar conditions.

Production
The wine brings together fruit from five Mâconnais terroirs, expressing the character of this southern Burgundy region and its Chardonnay vineyards. Famille Paquet farms with respect for the land, focusing on sustainable, organic and biodynamic principles. Following 100% malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured for six to seven months in stainless-steel tanks. This preserves Chardonnay’s freshness while allowing its texture and generous character to develop.

Food & Serving
A versatile choice at the table, this Mâcon Villages is excellent as an aperitif and pairs especially well with seafood such as scallops, as well as veal and poultry. Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, although opening the bottle shortly before serving can give the wine time to reveal its floral and almond-scented character.
