Tasting Notes
The wine shows a pale, luminous golden colour in the glass, hinting at both freshness and subtle depth. The nose is elegant and layered, with citrus peel, white flowers, green apple and a delicate nutty note, all lifted by a distinct chalky minerality that reflects the cool, limestone-rich slope of La Garenne. On the palate, it is taut and finely structured, with vivid acidity carrying clean, precise fruit and a crystalline sense of energy. The 2019 vintage brings a touch more texture and ripeness without losing the wine’s signature lightness and poise. The finish is long, saline and linear, with the mineral character lingering beautifully; this is a wine with excellent ageing potential and should develop further complexity over the coming years.
