Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, concentrated color that hints at its richness and power. The nose opens with blackberry, dark plum, black tea, black pepper, and a lifted herbal note of rosemary and thyme, with leather and sandalwood emerging as the wine opens up. The palate is full-bodied and layered, combining ripe dark fruit with notes of clove, white pepper, and Mediterranean herbs. Despite its generosity, it carries real finesse and structure, giving it excellent balance and a long life ahead. This is a wine that will continue to improve over the next 5 years and can easily age for 20–25 years in a good cellar.

Production
Cuvée Réservée comes from vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where the galet-strewn soils and sun-soaked Rhône climate help Grenache ripen fully while preserving aromatic complexity. Laurence Féraud follows a traditional approach: whole clusters are pressed, fermentation takes place in cement tanks with native yeasts, and the wine is then matured for two years in older oak barrels to build texture without masking the character of the fruit.

Food & Serving
This is an ideal wine for slow-cooked lamb, game, roasted duck, beef short ribs, or Provençal dishes with herbs and garlic. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours when young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
