Domaine du Pégau’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée 2019 is a classic expression of one of the Rhône Valley’s most respected estates. Built on Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, it combines aromatic complexity with the silky, elegant structure that has made Pégau a benchmark name in the appellation.

Tasting Notes
Expect a deep ruby color with excellent concentration in the glass. The nose is highly expressive, opening with floral notes, garrigue, and bright red berries such as raspberry and cherry, layered with the savory, sun-baked character that defines top Châteauneuf-du-Pape. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, refined and long, with a silky texture and classic Pégau balance. It has the structure and depth to evolve gracefully over time, and should continue to gain complexity with bottle age.

Sourced from Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s iconic stony terroir, where warm Mediterranean conditions and old vines help produce wines of great depth and aromatic intensity. The blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah is vinified in the traditional Pégau style to preserve freshness, texture and layered complexity.

Food & Serving
A great match for lamb, roast game, duck, grilled meats or rich Provençal dishes with herbs and olive oil. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for an hour or two is recommended to let the aromatics fully unfold.
