Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a vivid ruby hue with the polish and brightness typical of great Burgundy. The bouquet opens with sweet red berries and ripe plum, layered with orange peel, rose petals, and warm spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, richly textured, and mouth-filling, yet retains precision and lift. The tannins are fine and powdery, the acidity ripe and balanced, and the finish is long and layered. While already expressive, it has the structure and depth to age gracefully for many years, developing greater savory complexity with time.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roast duck, game birds, braised beef, mushroom dishes, or truffled poultry. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young to allow the aromatics and texture to fully unfold.
