Domaine Drouhin Laurène 2022 is a polished Dundee Hills Pinot Noir that brings together Oregon freshness and Burgundian refinement. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, it’s a beautifully elegant red with lifted fruit, fine structure, and a sense of quiet luxury that has made Domaine Drouhin one of Oregon’s benchmark producers.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic charm of Pinot Noir with a vibrant ruby-red color and a graceful, transparent depth. The bouquet is inviting and layered, with fresh blackcurrant, blackberry, orange zest, warm brown spices, and a subtle touch of sweet oak. The palate is supple and beautifully balanced, with silky red and dark berry fruit, elegant tannins, and a long, refined finish. It has the poise to drink well now, but also the structure and freshness to develop additional complexity over the next 5–8 years, and potentially longer under ideal cellar conditions.

Production
Produced in Oregon’s Dundee Hills, an area known for its volcanic soils, cool climate, and ideal conditions for expressive Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested with care to preserve freshness and aromatic detail, then vinified to emphasize finesse, purity of fruit, and textural elegance rather than heavy extraction.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken, and dishes featuring earthy ingredients like truffles or wild mushrooms. Serve slightly cool, ideally around 15–17°C, and decant for 20–30 minutes if drinking young to help the aromas open up.
