On the palate, it is fresh and open, with medium body, crisp red fruit, and a pronounced line of acidity that keeps everything taut and energetic. It already drinks well in its early youth, though the finish currently has a little less breadth than the mid-palate suggests; a little more time in bottle should allow the wine to fill out and gain texture. It has good short- to mid-term ageing potential, especially as it continues to evolve during élevage and beyond.
