Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour that hints at its concentration and age-worthiness. The nose is layered and expressive, with black cherry, plum and blackcurrant framed by spice, toasted oak, a touch of smoke and a clear mineral note that adds lift and finesse. The palate is rich and structured, balancing ripe berry fruit and cherry compote with cinnamon, pepper, vanilla and subtle toasted oak. Firm Corton tannins give the wine impressive backbone, while the finish is long, savoury and mineral-driven, with a lightly saline edge. This is a wine built for the cellar and should develop beautifully over the coming decades.

Production
The grapes come from the Grand Cru vineyard 'Fiètres' in Corton, a site known for producing Pinot Noir of exceptional power, complexity and longevity. The fruit is hand-harvested and vinified with great care, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation designed to preserve purity and site expression. The wine is then aged in French oak, including new barrels, to add texture, structure and additional nuance without masking the character of the terroir.

Food & Serving
This wine is a natural match for braised beef, game, duck with mushrooms, and rich, flavourful cheeses such as Époisses or aged Comté. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended, especially if opened young, to allow the wine to fully раскры?
