Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a luminous golden hue, hinting at its maturity and concentration. The nose opens with ripe yellow fruit, citrus peel, white flowers, and subtle layers of honey, toasted nuts, and gentle spice. The palate is rich and textured, yet driven by vibrant acidity that keeps everything in balance. Creamy and generous at first, it finishes with a refined mineral edge and impressive length. Thanks to the magnum format, it has excellent aging potential and can continue to develop nuance for years to come.

Production
Sourced from the Viré-Clessé appellation in the Mâconnais, the wine reflects the limestone-driven freshness and naturally expressive character of the area. The grapes are farmed according to biodynamic principles and harvested with care to preserve purity and balance. Vinification is carried out with minimal intervention, followed by aging in a combination of stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels to build texture and depth without overshadowing the wine’s lively fruit.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, shellfish, creamy seafood dishes, mushroom risotto, and fine fish preparations such as turbot or sea bass. Serve at around 10–12°C to bring out its balance of richness and freshness. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help reveal the wine’s full aromatic range.
