Tasting Notes
Pale in colour with bright green-gold reflections, it opens with a classic and inviting nose of apple, pear, citrus, almonds, and a delicate touch of honey. On the palate, the wine combines generous texture with lively acidity, giving it both charm and precision, while the mineral character keeps everything focused and long. The finish is persistent and elegant, with enough structure to age gracefully over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from the domaine’s own parcel in Saint-Romain, planted at 300 to 400 metres above sea level on soils rich in marl, clay, and limestone. This cool, high-altitude terroir helps preserve freshness while contributing to the wine’s signature minerality. Winemaker Eric Guillemard ages the wine primarily in used oak barrels to protect the fruit and allow the terroir to remain front and centre.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roast chicken, creamy poultry dishes, grilled fish, shellfish, and richer vegetarian plates such as mushroom risotto or a cauliflower gratin. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, but a short airing in the glass can help the wine open up if served young.
