Domaine de la Janasse was established in 1967, when Aimé Sabon took over the family’s vineyards and created an independent estate named after the family farm in Courthézon. Beginning with 15 hectares, the domaine has grown to around 90 hectares, with Aimé’s son Christophe joining in 1991 and his daughter Isabelle becoming part of the team ten years later. Thanks to its more than 60 parcels and diverse terroirs, Domaine de la Janasse has become one of the leading names in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, producing both complex regional cuvées and distinguished wines such as Chaupin, Les Garrigues, Terre d’Argile and Terre de Bussières.
