Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, inviting color that hints at its concentration. The nose opens with blackberry, darker cherry, roasted garrigue, pepper, and a distinctly stony mineral edge, giving the wine both warmth and freshness. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied with a polished, layered texture and ultra-fine tannins. The finish is long and gradually expanding, with impressive balance and elegance. This is a wine with serious aging potential, and it should continue to evolve beautifully over the next 20 years or more.

Production
This cuvée is built on 85% Grenache, supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre, with partial destemming to preserve freshness and finesse. The wine is matured for 12 months in a combination of 70% foudres and 30% demi-muids, a regime that supports texture and complexity without overpowering the fruit. Sourced from old vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the wine reflects the region’s classic galets-strewn terroir and sun-drenched Rhône character.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for roasted lamb, game, beef ribeye, braised short ribs, or herb-crusted Mediterranean dishes. It also works well with rich mushroom-based dishes and mature hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and while decanting is not essential in youth, an hour or two can help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
