Tasting Notes
Bright and youthful in appearance, the wine is marked by appealing aromas of fresh red fruits, with a graceful and understated character. On the palate, it is fruity, supple and delicately structured, with pleasant notes of red berries and a balanced finish. Production
The domaine is based in Jambles, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, and works vineyards in and around Givry and Mercurey. Following sustainable cultivation practices, the family focuses on producing high-quality grapes that express the character of the local terroir. The wine is matured for approximately 9–10 months in oak barrels, adding gentle depth while preserving its fresh, fruit-led profile.

Food & Serving
A versatile partner for poultry, roasted or grilled meats, and simply prepared dishes where its delicate fruit character can shine. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C. Decanting is not essential for this youthful vintage, though 20–30 minutes in a carafe can help open the aromas before serving.

Producer
Domaine Danjean-Berthoux has its roots in a family estate established by Georges Berthoux, who took over from his father Charles in 1958 and gradually assembled vineyards in Jambles, Givry and Mercurey over nearly four decades. Pascal Danjean joined the domaine in 1993 and took full responsibility in 2002; today, he and his son Charles-Antoine represent the third and fourth generations. Their sustainable approach places a strong emphasis on vineyard work and allowing the distinctive character of the Côte Chalonnaise to come through in the wines.
